Welcome to
THE CROWN

The Crown Cheer and Dance Championships was founded in 2016 by Kevin Spencer. The goal was to provide a great event with innovative awards, fair judging, family fun atmosphere and great customer service. All of this, while focusing on keeping everything affordable. The Crown has continued to grow tremendously each season by sticking to these core values.

In late 2020, Emmitt Tyler joined Kevin as partners in The Crown. Our hope is that Emmitt’s experience partnered with Kevin’s passion will help create a new industry standard that will benefit athletes, coaches and parents alike. The Crown has exploded and had their best season to date despite dealing with the Covid pandemic.

In early 2021, Emmitt and Kevin created the Royal Events Group which The Crown is proud to be a part of. Moving forward, Royal Events will continue to hold true to the original core values that built The Crown Cheer and Dance to it’s prominence. So when you come to The Crown or any Royal event, expect the ROYAL treatment!

Royal Events Payment
Policies and Deadlines

Payments
Your payment rate is figured out by the time YOU PAY your invoice in full, not the day you register for the event. Payment rates will automatically increase after the posted deadlines. Payments must be made in full to receive the current pricing rate.

Refunds/Cancellations
100% refund 2 months out from event or 100% transfer to another event that season

50% refund 1 month out or 75% transfer to another event in that season

25% refund outside 14 days from event or 50% transfer to another event in that season

0% refund within 14 days from event or 25% transfer to another event in that season

0% refund week of event and 0% transfer to another event in that season

No refunds will be offered for a No-Show or Scratch at a competition regardless of the circumstance. Any payment made will be retained by Royal Events as damages to pay the costs and expenses that Royal Events incurs in such cancellation.

No payments/funds can transfer to another season of events

All Deposits for events/discounts/promotions are non-refundable

Inclement Weather Policy
It is rare that Royal Events will cancel an event. However, if Royal Events cancels an event and it is not rescheduled, your team will receive a full refund.

If the event venue is open, the event will go on as planned or a delayed schedule could be in effect. Please make any necessary travel arrangements so that you will not have any problems making it to the event on time. No special favors or performance times will be granted to those who arrive late for any reason (weather or otherwise). Please keep an eye on the local and national weather forecasts so that you are prepared for any inclement weather.
